What's stored on your device
WhoStat has no accounts and no backend. Your game progress — today's guesses, win/loss stats, streaks, and your analytics choice — lives entirely in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data for this site removes it completely.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the game is played (puzzles started, guesses made, shares). In the EU, UK, and Canada nothing loads unless you explicitly accept via the consent banner; declining keeps analytics fully off. Google Consent Mode v2 is used, ad-related signals are always denied, and we never see who you are — only aggregate gameplay events.
